Min Li

Min Li studied traditional Chinese dance at the Beijing Dance Academy, after which he danced for four years with the National Ballet of China.

With a scholarship, he then studied contemporary dance and choreography at the California Institute of The Arts. There he stood out and was asked by Ohad Naharin to dance with the Batsheva Dance Ensemble in Israel. Wanting to get to know different styles and cultures in Europe, he went to the Netherlands at the invitation of Ed Wubbe.

At Scapino Ballet Rotterdam he worked with various choreographers and began to create his own choreographies in which he explored the boundaries between dance and theatre, such as Find Me Please for TWOOLS14.

Since 2014 he has been a freelance choreographer. But Min is also a fashion designer and completed the fashion course at the Royal Academy of Art. Min Li is looking for ways to combine all his interests.
